The hike to St. Hippolyt Church is a wonderful excursion through beautiful landscapes. Starting near St. Hippolyt, you’ll follow a well-marked path that winds through forests and meadows. Though not overly long, the gentle inclines do require some endurance.

Children can explore the interactive art installations and have plenty of fun along the way. The trail offers not only artistic but also scenic highlights, making the excursion a truly special experience.
The Schlossrundweg in Prissian is a fantastic excursion to historic castles and breathtaking viewpoints. This easy hike takes you through picturesque landscapes, passing by the Wehrburg, a castle built in the 13th century.
Along the way, you’ll also discover the Casatsch (Pfeffersburg) castle ruins and Castel Katzenzungen, home to the world’s largest and oldest vine, the Versoaln vine. Enjoy the stunning views, including that of Fahlburg, which was owned by the Counts of Brandis for over 400 years.
The hike to Laugenspitze takes you through alpine landscapes and offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
The ascent to Laugenspitze is challenging (923 m elevation), but the effort is rewarded at the Laugenalm, where you can enjoy regional cuisine. From the Alm, you’ll already be treated to amazing panoramic views.
At the summit of Laugenspitze, you can enjoy a breathtaking mountain panorama, including views of the Dolomites. This tour is perfect for hikers seeking adventure and nature experiences. Don’t forget to bring enough water and snacks!
The hike from Platzers to the Gallhöfen and back is a scenic yet physically demanding tour. Starting in the idyllic hamlet of Platzers, you’ll immediately be immersed in the picturesque landscape.
The path takes you through diverse terrains, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the way. The return journey to Platzers completes this rewarding hike. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to fully enjoy the experience!
The hike from Perlkraling to the Gfrillner Laugenalm is a moderate yet rewarding tour through stunning nature. Starting at the small “Perlkraling” parking lot, the path steadily ascends, at times steep and at times more moderate, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, you’ll reach the idyllic Gfrillner Laugenalm, where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
For those who wish to continue, it’s possible to hike about 1 hour further to the Laugensee, adding an additional 360 meters of elevation – a highly recommended extension of the tour.
